Works great. Had to keep the gil around 900,000 or so, otherwise, the game didn't seem to recognize the change

I guess my patience later in life is not what it used to be, because I was really struggling with how much of a slog this game becomes. (it was my fav rpg ever as a kid) As well as how tedious some of the fights are. I was able to bump my levels and stats up some, so I could go back to just enjoying the story and the trip down nostalgia lane without pulling my hair out
