How do I use the cheats in XCOM Enemy Unknown?

I realized I needed to turn offMacaffee active scan and firewall to get it to work, but it works great.

App says it's not compatible with current version but went ahead and test anyways. It worked.

works perfectly with the latest version, however I can't say the same for this communication interface. It won't accept preemptive text input, which is really annoying for a paralysed person using eye initiated text input 😡😭
